Among some other duties, he has been President of the American College of Cardiology and editor at Circulation. As well as Professors Dirk Brutsaert and Shigetake Sasayama, he developed a community of scientists working on cardiac functionality and biology, establishing the La Jolla-Kyoto-Antwerp Conferences, which rotates through the three continents. Describing Dr Ross’s contributions to modern day cardiovascular remedies in a few text is of the most trouble, as his passions spanned many regions of myocardial sickness, allowing him to make various landmark observations (Circ Res 110, 2012, 1166-1168).

GC×GC Symposium, and published in specific printed issues. They are centered on the latest developments in the field of liquid and gas chromatography, especially in hyphenation with mass spectrometry, and improved sampling tactics and extraction methodologies. New insights receive into the separation mechanisms in monodimensional and multidimensional software, employing novel stationary phases, and significant achievements are offered from the recognition standpoint. This virtual issue also offers the readers access to this program book, abstracts, list of award dinners, and pictures from the symposium. I hope the readers will undoubtedly be interested to the new format and revel in its features.
On 11 April 2019, John Ross Jr, a legendary shape in cardiovascular remedies who influenced generations of cardiovascular researchers and cardiologists over the last six decades, passed on at his house in La Jolla, California. He left this world soon after the disappearance of his much loved companion, Dr Lola Romanucci-Ross, a notable cultural anthropologist and colleague at the University of California NORTH PARK (UCSD).
