Having Frequent Hunger Pangs? Here’s Why-And What To Do About It – HealthyWay

It seems GERD is pretty easily answered but LPR is quite different and never seems to be addressed, just glossed over. Your points are pretty generalized.

Bloating, burping, all of it can be from something as simple as not chewing your food enough, which I would think sets the stage for healthy acid levels. At any rate, it’s pretty confusing not to have clear-cut answers on at least whether I have low or high stomach acid. I’m an older female so it’s likely low but why then would my throat care, if it’s not acidic? I just don’t get it.

It’s the worst thing I have ever experienced because nothing I do has relieved it. I’ve been dealing with severe adrenal fatigue recently also. i have been experiencing sudden hunger, dizziness, sweating and stomach upset for years.

Almost after every 2 -3 days i m feeling very acidic inside my stomach due to this it leds to vomiting happens. Almost whole i m suffering from sour vomiting coming upto mouth or neck even after eating light food it happens. What shoild i do ?

I am at my wits end.I don’t know what to do.so should I try to go the low acid way.I’m just so sick right now, I can’t think straight.Help me Please!! Thank You!!

Because indigestion is such a broad term, it is helpful to provide your doctor with a precise description of the discomfort you are experiencing. In describing the symptoms, try to define where in the abdomen the discomfort usually occurs. Swallowing excessive air when eating may increase the symptoms of belching and bloating, which are often associated with indigestion. One easy way to tell is to take some pink bismuth (Pepto Bismul, etc.) before bed. If you wake up in the morning with a black film on your tongue, you may have acid reflux.

That’s why I want to urge you to test for low stomach acid. It is cheap and easy to get a good indication if you need to invest further into this potential health problem. I’ve talked about GERD / heartburn before but I want to give you a quick summary. A leading theory of GERD goes like this.

The undigested food is usually comprised of high-fiber vegetable matter which isn’t completely digested by the enzymes in your digestive tract. If you have insufficient stomach acid, these enzymes will not be released. This can occur because you have insufficient stomach acid to fully digest your meal.

What Everyone Should Know About Eating Raw Eggs

Up to 50 percent of North Americans actually have stomach acid that is lacking the acidity required to break down food properly. that neutralizes the evil, burning acid. It’s common to assume that stomach acid needs to be reduced in order to rectify common digestive problems such as acid reflux, heartburn and indigestion. This test is not accurate enough to completely rule out low stomach acid. Treat it as an indicator to determine if you want to investigate additional testing, i.e., the Heidelberg Stomach Acid Test is the most accurate but expensive (approx $350).

Not getting enough sleep can increase the production of stress hormones, which can trigger acid reflux, put you at higher risk for chronic diseases, and lower life expectancy. If you suffer from sleep apnea or insomnia, talk to your doctor for possible treatments. I am passionate about restoring hope, healing, and health from within!. So I started the hcl. I didn’t feel burning pain when taken too much but I didn’t overdo it.

I do not burp or pass gas much and recently i had a crohns flate which maybe was brought on by the antibiotics. As part of trying to treat the cough I’ve taken Prilosec but it did nothing. Two Tums after I eat helps but I don’t want to take Tums all the time. Could this be from low stomach acid? I have not seen any posts from people who have the cough as a symptom.

I have felt for a long time that it is linked to diet and digestion. I have been reading a lot about this low stomach acid theory and it makes so much sense to me. I started the testing with the hcl tablets with pepsin that I’ve read so much about. I started taking 1 pill with a meal with meat and then moved to 2 pills the next day and then 3 pills the next day and so on. I took 7 hcl pills with my lunch today with 4-6 oz of meat to see if I would get that burning and I still have not.

Treating low stomach acid depends on the underlying cause. If you’ve been prescribed antacid medication for your heartburn symptoms, your doctor may change your prescription to avoid triggering hypochlorhydria symptoms. Low stomach acid is a trigger for poor digestive activity. Because food and nutrients can’t be broken down, they sit in the stomach and cause bacteria to build up. The main symptoms from this process are gas and bloating.

I have stomach pain and it’s not going despite treatment All the symptoms I have are of stomach cancer when I searched online.

Is that your experience with folks taking both HCL with pepsin plus pancreatic enzymes?. I have even seen the recommendation to take an antacid with pancreatin which I’m not going to do. Thanks. First, if you haven’t yet, it sounds like you need to go to your doctor or your school’s health center ASAP.
