Why You Have Reflux, Bloating, Gas and Burping and What To Do

I have had years of stomach issues and have Hashimoto’s and possibly Raynauds. I currently take about 6-8 HCL per meal and 1 with Fish Oil twice a day….the other night I took 6 HCL with my meal and then took 2-3 more when I had another piece of meat. It never seems to burn my stomach at all so am believing that my stomach acid is depleted.

This weakened (LES) resolves after delivery of the baby. Pregnancy also distorts the organs in the abdomen and the increased abdominal pressure from the growing fetus causes heartburn.

Symptoms Management for GERD and IBS

They will want to know if your bloating is occasional or if it occurs all the time. Bloating occurs in your abdomen (stomach). It happens when your gastrointestinal (GI) tract is filled with air or gas. When you are bloated, you feel as if you’ve eaten a big meal and there is no room in your stomach.

Other people swallow air without noticing it, especially when they are tense. Fizzy drinks including beer cause belching because they release gas (carbon dioxide) into the stomach. Hi, i hope i can get a reply from someone. I just turned 19 this month & about 3 months ago i was laying in bed one day & gradually throughout the day i started to feel like i couldn’t breathe more & more.

After experiencing terrible reflux symptoms for a year or so, having tests and trying all of those awful prescription meds (which made me feel worse), I happened upon articles recommending apple cider vinegar and the idea that the problem could be not enough acid in my digestive system. I began using it 1 1/2 years ago and it has been a life saver for me.

But let your doctor know if your symptoms get worse. These symptoms might be worse when you’re stressed. If you swallow too much air when you eat, that can make belching and bloating worse. GERD can usually be diagnosed based on typical symptoms. It is therefore important to describe your symptoms to your doctor in as much detail as possible, and tell him or her when and how often they occur.

Is Bloating a Sign of Something More Serious?

My symptoms are bloating at times, and lots of gas at night and in particular first thing in the morning. The bloating is better if I take enough HCL. I do have leaky gut, gluten intolerance, and don’t eat much dairy at all as it seems to cause inflammation.

I’m got so thin, I lost 4 kilograms. Three weeks later, I was admitted again with the same signs and symptoms because I was accustomed to eating even when I felt full. That was more horrible than my previous hospitalization. I was discharged after 7 days.

Therefore, eating smaller meals can be very useful. Although treatment isn’t always pleasant and might take some time to work, a lot of people find that they feel better afterwards and that their GERD is no longer such a problem.

Over time, symptoms may become more frequent as the disease progresses. Myocarditis produces symptoms similar to those of other heart conditions, such as chest tightness and fatigue. Leaning forward can help relieve chest pain resulting from myocarditis.

Lactose intolerance

Can’t seem to process fats or sugars. I do have low stomach acid and on top of that h pylori, yeast parasites in my stomach. Have been on many herbal treatments in the last year and nothing is helping. I exp a lot of dizziness, swelling of my throat, extreme cryn n irritation, headaches, muscle cramping, my chest squeezing in, undigested food.
